Paris FC Bolsters Midfield Ahead of New Season

Paris FC had a strong season in the Première Ligue in France, finishing in third place with 45 points and losing only three games during their campaign. They advanced to the play-offs for the title, facing off against PSG but unfortunately losing 3–0. Despite the defeat, the club celebrated the new heights they reached and added two new players to the squad.

The arrival of two new players

The 23-year-old arrives from Dijon after a very successful season. Picard began her football career in her native region with Strasbourg, then moved to Vendenheim before heading to Germany to join SC Freiburg.

In 2017, she returned to France, first to Vendenheim in Division 2, then to FC Metz. She played nearly 50 matches before joining Dijon FCO, where she made a total of 45 appearances. On the international stage, Picard has featured in all youth levels of the French national team, from U16 to U20.

“I feel proud. I am very happy to join PFC, as I said earlier: It is a huge honour for me and for my family and I can’t wait to start this new challenge,” Picard said. “It’s a big club, really on the rise, and they finished third this season and won the Coupe de France.”

Midfielder Anaële Le Moguédec joins Paris FC

Le Moguédec is a 23-year-old midfielder who joined Paris FC from Stade de Reims, signing a contract that runs until 2028. Le Moguédec is known as a versatile player, capable of playing in both 6 and 10. She is recognized for her passing ability, work rate, and tactical intelligence.

“I am very happy to have signed at Paris FC. This marks an important step, and I think it is the right project for me,” said Le Moguédec.

Daphne Corboz signs extension

Corboz, who arrived at Paris FC in 2020, has become a key player for the team. Over four seasons, she has made a total of 134 appearances and has now signed a new contract extending her stay until 2027.
