Nottingham Forest have a number of famous fans and it would appear that the list is still growing.

The likes of Lee Westwood, Stuart Broad and Carl Froch are Forest-supporting celebrities from the world of sport and others exist too.

Manic Street Preachers lead James Dean Bradfield is a devoted Forest fan, whilst legendary sitcom actress and comedian Sue Pollard follows the club’s fortunes.

Comedian Matt Forde can often be seen at the City Ground, whilst Emmerdale actor James Hooton is also on the list of Forest fans with famous titles.

Jackie Chan confirms he’s a Nottingham Forest fan

Ahead of the release of new film, Karate Kid: Legends, Chan has been performing promotional duties on national radio.

Sian Welby from Capital FM is a Forest fan and on this morning’s show she decided to persuade Chan into changing his team having previously said he supports Manchester City.

It appears to have worked, with a photograph going on Instagram of Chan being presented with a signed Forest shirt, with his name imprinted on the back.

UEFA Conference League football can help Forest gain bigger profile

The Champions League would have been gamechanging for the club in terms of finances but the UEFA Conference League does provide a good opportunity still.

The Reds need to ensure they come through a two-legged play-off match first but if they do, the club could really progress through the competition with ease.

Chan becoming a Forest fan might be a little bit tongue in cheek but it’s great to see the club getting mentioned on national radio nonetheless.

With the club clearly on the up maybe it won’t be long before other Hollywood A-Listers are coming out to show support to Forest.
