FC Barcelona continue to be heavily represented in the Spanish national team across all levels from the senior team to the youth squads.
The Blaugrana have six first-team stars in the La Roja squad for the UEFA Nations League while three players have been included in the Under-21 squad for the summer’s Euros.
Now, as many as five Barcelona youth prospects have been called up by Spain for the U-19 European Championships this summer.
Indeed, Jan Virgili, Andres Cuenca, Alexis Olmedo, Quim Junyent, and Jofre Torrents have been called up to the Spain U-19 squad by manager Paco Gallardo.

For Virgili, this will be his first-ever call-up to a Spanish national team. The rest are already familiar faces in the youth setup.
Some, if not all, of these players are also likely to be involved in Barcelona’s pre-season under Hansi Flick later in the summer.
Former Barcelona youngster, Marc Guiu, who joined Chelsea last summer is also in the squad.
The competition will be held in Romania from 13 to 26 June.
