Christian Eriksen agent in contact with La Liga club – Sounds like great move after Manchester United

When you’re 33-years-of-age and set to be a free agent, a year or two on a sunny Spanish island whilst playing La Liga football looks like a perfect plan.

It would appear that’s what Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is thinking. The Denmark international’s contract expires at the end of June, and he was able to score his final goal for the club against Aston Villa, after Bruno Fernandes gifted him a penalty.

Despite intermittent denials that any final decision had been made, it’s been clear for some months that Eriksen would be leaving Manchester United and would therefore have to find a new destination.

[OK Baleares](https://okdiario.com/baleares/ofrecimiento-eriksen-llego-traves-abogado-14841417), who cover the Balearic Islands, report an agent contacted RCD Mallorca a couple of months ago. It was agreed they’d speak again soon, and the Spanish club are waiting to find out the player’s demands.

Mallorca obviously don’t have huge financial capabilities, but it’s thought Eriksen is attracted by living on the island and would therefore accept a relatively modest package.

Denmark’s [Tipsbladet](https://www.tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/generelle/chok-rygte-eriksen-tilbudt-til-spansk-klub) report they’ve tried to get a comment from Martin Schoots, who represents Eriksen, but haven’t had any success.
