Pacers Star Tyrese Haliburton Gives Shout Out to WWE Legend Following Dominant Game 4 Win

Indiana Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton delivered a historic performance in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, recording a triple-double with no turnovers to lead his team to a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Adding to the special atmosphere, WWE's Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque was courtside, and Haliburton said having the wrestling legend witness his masterpiece was "fire."

Haliburton was so impressed by Triple H's attendance that he "almost went as far as saying it was just as special to have Triple H there as it was his dad." Haliburton's father had recently been permitted to attend games again after being asked to stay away following a confrontation with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo during the first round of the playoffs.

The Pacers now have a chance to close out the series against the Knicks on Thursday, May 29th. Alongside Triple H, WWE President Nick Khan and media personality Pat McAfee were also in attendance, with McAfee reportedly trolling some celebrity Knicks fans during the fourth quarter.

Tyrese Haliburton, a lifelong and vocal WWE fan, has a growing history of interactions with the company. He attended SummerSlam in Las Vegas in August 2021 and later called John Cena his "all-time favorite wrestler." In October 2023, he was front row for WWE Fastlane in Indianapolis, even asking IYO SKY and Bayley a question during their post-show press conference.

He also met WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Queen Sharmell at a Houston Rockets "WWE Night" in December 2023, stating he "wasn't going to lose on WWE Night." Perhaps his most notable WWE moment came in June 2024 at SmackDown in Madison Square Garden.

During a segment with Logan Paul and LA Knight, Haliburton (wearing a "Tyrese 3:17" shirt) got involved from the crowd. It led to an on-stage staredown with New York Knicks rival Jalen Brunson, an interaction that gained significant traction online and was revisited as their teams met in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.

Haliburton was also announced as a playable character in the WWE 2K25 video game, appearing on the May 19, 2025, Raw to break the news. His connection with WWE even saw The Miz call him out on X in May 2025 for "stealing my gimmick" after Haliburton used Miz's "tiny balls" taunt.
