The 27-year-old is operating in the prime year of his career and has displayed immense reliability in contribution and influence. Lookman played a key goalscoring role in beating Xabi Alonso’s invincible Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final last season.
The Nigerian also has good experience in the English league, having played for Charlton Athletic, Everton, Leicester City and Fulham. Lookman prefers to operate as a left-winger but has the versatility to play as a second striker for his team.

Atalanta have placed a valuation of €60 million (£50m) on their highly productive attacker amid several interested parties this summer. United are already active in the transfer market with many sales and purchases expected throughout the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils endured a disastrous season, finishing 16th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final. The biggest mitigating factor during their struggle was the failure of the senior squad to adjust to Ruben Amorim’s tactics.
