Barcelona sporting director Deco has been spotted meeting Marcus Rashford’s agent as the two parties discuss a potential summer transfer.
The forward is thought to be really keen to join Barcelona after being deemed surplus to requirements by Manchester United.
Yet it’s still not clear if a deal will be done. Manchester United are said to want £40 million for the 27-year-old, and it’s difficult to see Barca splashing out such an amount.
More on Marcus Rashford. He was already keen on joining Barcelona last January… and he remains very keen on the project.
Positive feelings on player side again after new meeting, but still early stages club to club.

A more realistic option appears to be a loan deal with a purchase option, although there’s no confirmation yet of whether Manchester United would be willing to sanction another loan.
Rashford spent the season half of last season at Aston Villa where he showed flashes of good form but then picked up an injury and missed the final weeks of the campaign.
Manchester United would much rather offload Rashford permanently, but it’s not clear how much interest there is the Englishman ahead of the summer window.
