There were thousands of enthusiastic United fans.
Manchester United lost 1-0 against ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
There are concerns over the heavy workload players face in modern-day football, but United arranged post-season friendlies against ASEAN All-Stars and Hong Kong, a trip expected to make the club around £10million.
United played their first friendly of the post-season tour at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, with Maung Maung Lwin's second-half strike handing ASEAN All-Stars a 1-0 win.
Here are the moments you might have missed from the game:
Maguire a popular figure
Harry Maguire was cheered every time he touched the ball. It wasn't that long ago that Maguire was booed on trips to Melbourne, Las Vegas and Dublin, so he'll no doubt have appreciated the huge cheers on Wednesday.
The booing of him was unacceptable, regardless of his form, and Maguire deserved the cheers he received on Wednesday. He has enjoyed one of his best seasons on an individual basis at United.
Maguire has scored important goals - his winner against Lyon at Old Trafford will never be forgotten - and his leadership skills have been crucial in a dressing room that lacks leaders.

Mainoo with the armband
Ruben Amorim made four changes just after the half-hour mark, which wasn't a surprise given the humid conditions and the timing of this tour, with Maguire one of those to be replaced. Young defender Dan Armer came on in his place.
Maguire wore the armband from the start against ASEAN All-stars because Bruno Fernandes was named on the bench, and he handed the captain's armband to Mainoo before walking off.
Mainoo had never worn the armband for United's first team, so this was the first time he was given the privilege of captaining his boyhood club. Last season, club insiders considered Mainoo as a future captain, but this season has been stop-start for the midfielder and he faces an uncertain future this summer.
It will be fascinating to see how Mainoo's next few months unfold. A compromise needs to be reached in contract negotiations, otherwise, he could genuinely leave the club.

Lacey gets an opportunity
Shea Lacey has missed a lot of time on the pitch this season, but he will look to make up for lost time in pre-season and it was excellent to see him included in the post-season squad.
Although Lacey has trained with the first-team on several occasions, the post-season tour is a new opportunity for him and he was introduced to the game when the first changes were made.
Lacey has generated immense interest, with followers of the academy are excited about his potential.
There have already been comparisons made between Lacey and Phil Foden and, just like the Manchester City star, Lacey's long-term future could be as an attacking midfielder.
The set-piece conundrum
Carlos Fernandes is the coach who looks after set-pieces and he steps up to the touchline when there is a dead-ball situation, a routine that didn't change against ASEAN All-stars.
That suggested United were approaching the game seriously. Fernandes would have been forgiven for taking a seat on the bench for the full game, but he jumped to his feet to observe each set-piece.
United conceded 13 goals from corners in the Premier League during the season, which ranks them among the league's worst at defending corners, and that must improve in 2025/26.
