Leeds are expected to be active in the summer transfer market.
The Elland Road outfit need to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the Premier League after securing promotion this season.
Several positions need bolstering if they are going to have any chance of survival in the top flight, but the dugout is one place where the incumbent’s position is clear.

Leeds had Raul agreement before Farke U-turn
Daniel Farke’s future was under significant doubt before Paraag Marathe assured him that his job was safe.
A report from Cadena Ser (28 May) claims that the Whites had an agreement with legendary former Spain striker Raul to take over as their manager.

It states that ultimately, the 47-year-old decided to remain of Real Madrid’s youth team and wait for his chance to manage the first team.

Raul appointment would have been a huge risk for Leeds
While the former Los Blancos ace was one of the best to ever grace the game in his playing days, the same cannot be said about his managerial career so far.
The 102-cap Spain star has only ever managed Madrid’s youth team and has no significant experience outside of the Spanish capital, so would not have been a guaranteed success in Yorkshire by any means.
The concerns over Farke’s record in the top-flight were valid, given that he has won just six of his 49 matches in the division but that was with a poor Norwich side and he was not backed in the transfer market.
However, he has a much better understanding of the English game and a better squad to give it another go this time around.
The likes of Joe Rodon, Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu are already ready to play at the elite level and with a few additions, they could have a really solid squad for the top tier.
The 49ers backed the German to keep his post, now, they must ensure that he is given the funds that he needs to pull off a squad overhaul that could be the difference between survival and going straight back down to the Championship.
