Liverpool look set for a busy couple of weeks in the transfer market as they aim to get their business done nice and early.
The first opportunity for new players to come through the door arrives between the 1st and 10th of June this summer.
And with Liverpool working on several deals already, it feels possible that two or three players could arrive at Anfield in the coming fortnight.
As well as arrivals, though, there is a possibility that the Liverpool squad sees a number of departures as well.
One of those surprisingly linked with an exit is forward Cody Gakpo, who had an impressive season.
Gakpo has been linked with Bayern Munich over recent days, and according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the German giants are one of three clubs he would consider leaving Liverpool for.

Cody Gakpo would consider Liverpool exit
Liverpool’s forward line is likely to be one of the major focuses of attention this summer.
The Reds are targeting Florian Wirtz to come into the attacking midfield position but are also looking for a new central striker. A wide attacker could yet be on the agenda too, but this will largely depend on any potential outgoings.

Taking to X on Wednesday evening, Plettenberg suggested that Gakpo could be one of these, with enquiries already arriving from Munich.
“Regardless of FC Bayern’s interest, a summer departure for Cody Gakpo is possible if the right offer comes in,” he says. “Several enquiries have already been made.”

“Gakpo has been informed about Bayern’s interest – Max Eberl is maintaining contact. Nothing more at this stage. Bayern are one of only three clubs he would consider leaving Liverpool for.
“However, Bayern continue to assess multiple profiles.”
Who are the other two clubs?
While Plettenberg does not mention the other two clubs who are appealing to Gakpo, it perhaps isn’t too difficult to work them out.
Alongside Bayern, Spanish duo Barcelona and Real Madrid are two more of the biggest clubs in the world. It is likely that these are the two being referred to here.
If that is indeed the case, then Liverpool fans do not have too much to worry about.
Madrid are well stocked for attackers right now and are seemingly not in the market to add another. They are highly unlikely to be looking at Gakpo.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are interested in Luis Diaz on the left side of their attack, making a move for Gakpo equally unlikely. As a result, it is seemingly Bayern or nowhere for the Dutchman this summer.
