Thunder rookie Nikola Topic could become the third-youngest NBA champion in history, without playing a single game this season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have returned to the NBA Finals for the first time in 13 years, after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1 in the Western Conference Finals.

This young squad is beginning to look like a dynasty in the making, becoming the second-youngest team in NBA history to reach the Finals, with an average age of just 25.56.
What’s even more alarming for the rest of the league is the enormous untapped potential still waiting to be unleashed, most notably in Serbian rookie Nikola Topic, who has yet to make his NBA debut.
Topic, one of OKC’s most anticipated young prospects, now has a chance to make history. If the Thunder go on to win the championship, he would become the third-youngest player ever to win an NBA title, currently just 19 years and 292 days old.
The record for the youngest NBA player ever to win the championship is still held by another Serbian, Darko Milicic, followed by Jonathan Kuminga, who sits second on the list.
