Real Betis 1-4 Chelsea: Post Match Chelsea Player Ratings

Chelsea capped off their season with a bang, storming back to thrash Real Betis 4-1 in Wroclaw to clinch the Conference League trophy.

Betis snatched an early lead through Abde Ezzalzouli’s sharp finish, bossing the first half and leaving the Blues rattled at the break. But **Enzo Maresca**’s men flipped the script after the interval, with Cole Palmer pulling the strings - his pinpoint assists set up Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson for a quickfire double to turn the tide.

Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo piled on late to seal the rout, sparking wild celebrations as Chelsea etched their name in history.

Pressure was still on Enzo Maresca to deliver the trophy despite already securing top four, and his side certainly came up trumps in the second half.

Chelsea are now the only club in football history to win every European trophy - some achievement that.

Filip Jorgensen - 6

While many Chelsea fans would have been nervous after seeing his name on the team sheet, Jorgensen went on to deliver a fine performance.

The 23-year-old didn't have much to deal with in the second half, couldn't have done much better for the goal and produced a few fine passes when building out the back.

Malo Gusto - 4

Malo Gusto starting over Reece James was seen as a risk, and one that certainly didn't pay off. The Frenchman was deployed as an inverting full-back and struggled with his execution on-the-ball.

Gusto gave the ball away in leadup to Betis' opener - a game to forget after a tricky season overall for the 22-year-old.

Trevoh Chalobah - 7

The Englishman produced yet another fine performance defensively and on-the-ball. Chelsea fans don't often see Chalobah struggle regardless of the game state.

Composed throughout yet again, whilst going on to record 100% success in ground duels and three recoveries. The 25-year-old also made five passes into the final third - a solid display yet again.

Benoit Badiashile - 6

The Frenchman was one of a few names who fans would've been wary about starting, and it wasn't hard to see why.

Badiashile's ball-playing ability was on show throughout the first half, but struggled to look convincing when facing runners.

Marc Cucurella - 8

Cucurella has been an ever-present this season - tonight was no different. Many hoped Antony would get better of the Spaniard, but Cucurella didn't give the winger a single sniff 1v1.

The 26-year-old won all three of his ground duels and never gave Antony a glimmer of hope.

Enzo Fernandez - 8

It wasn't a great first-half from the Argentinian who struggled to get going when receiving passes, but his second half display was the polar opposite.

The World-Cup winner made a beautiful run before heading home to grab the equaliser, and picked up an assist for Moises Caicedo who made it four.

Moises Caicedo - 8

The spearhead of Chelsea's midfield, time and time again. Chelsea fans often run out of words to describe the influence the Ecuadorian consistently shows.

Caicedo won the most duels (6) in the match, made 11 passes into the final third and recorded 100% success in aerial duels. Caicedo was mainly why Chelsea were able to get a grip of proceeding's in the second half.

Cole Palmer - 9 [MOTM]

It was a struggle in the first half for the Englishman, with the player himself admitting he got "fed up" of passing sideways and backwards.

However, Palmer certainly turned it up in the second half often drifting infield from the right wing - where he produced two delightful crosses for the first two goals.

Betis were quite simply unable to cope with the composure and ease Palmer was showing off at a time when he needed to show up. Stellar.

Noni Madueke - 5

Deployed off the left flank, Madueke found it a struggle to get going when faced 1v1 up against the full-back. The Englishman could've been more brave in getting to the byline.

It wasn't a performance to remember in physical terms too, as Madueke lost the most duels (8) in the match. A struggle for the 23-year-old on a night where many will have expected him to thrive.

Pedro Neto - 5

Similarly to Madueke, Neto was another who struggled to show any real end product when facing up 1v1 with the full-back.

A few occasions saw the Portuguese scuff his crosses in the first-half. That being said, Neto still created three chances.

Nicolas Jackson - 8

Jackson struggled to get into the game in first-half, where he failed to create any havoc from his front-foot pressing.

Yet his persistence paid off, as he scored from Cole Palmer's cross to put Chelsea in the lead. His confidence onwards started to show - with brilliant bits of hold-up play.

Substitutes

Reece James - 8

Brought on for the second half, James instantly showed his class, composure and quality on-the-ball as the Blues started to play with intensity.

The Englishman put in a cross which nearly led to a goal, not long after coming on. Provided much-needed balance and threat to Maresca's side.

Levi Colwill - 6

Many were shocked when the Cobham graduate was named on the bench initially - it wasn't hard to see why. Colwill's introduction in the second half came at the perfect time, where Chelsea started to dominate proceedings on-the-ball.

The Englishman recorded 11/12 accurate passes and gave the side more confidence in sustaining attacks.

Jadon Sancho - 7.5

While many will continue to speculate about his future, Jadon Sancho continues to focus on what he can control on the pitch. His introduction added an element of control down the left flank.

A lovely cameo which included a beautiful finish for Chelsea's third.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 7

Dewsbury-Hall wasn't on the pitch for long coming on with 15 minutes to go - yet grabbed an assist through good vision and decision-making to set up Sancho.

Marc Guiu - N/A
