Kostas Tsimikas has become something of a cult-hero at Liverpool, with the left-back often putting in a more than solid shift when called upon by Arne Slot.
The self-proclaimed Greek scouser has been an immense player for Liverpool on his day, with Slot often entrusting him over the course of the season.
Andy Robertson’s form has dropped off a tad over the last year or so, which has paved the way for Tsimikas to show that he’s still got what it takes to perform at the highest level.

So, with a summer of change expected to come at Anfield, it’s not much of a surprise to see new teams being thrown into the fight for his transfer.
Juventus and Atletico Madrid now want to sign Kostas Tsimikas from Liverpool
As per a report from Greek outlet SPORT24, both Juventus and Atletico Madrid are now vying for the transfer of the left-back.
Tsimikas has already been linked with a Liverpool exit, but if it comes down to a choice between the two European giants, it’s hard to tell which team he’d want to make the move to.
The report adds that alongside the European giants, some Premier League teams also have him ‘high’ on their shortlist.
And, with the transfer rumours surrounding Milos Kerkez and Liverpool, it’s not surprising to see the future of the defender become a hot topic in the football world.

Comparing Kostas Tsimikas and Milos Kerkez’s stats
Even though neither Robertson nor Tsimikas have set the world alight this season, it seems that the Greek scouser is the man chosen to leave Liverpool this summer.
One of the Reds’ main priorities in the transfer window will be to improve their left-back situation, and with the transfer of Kerkez seemingly edging ever closer, a decision needs to be made.
Indeed, Michael Owen may have called Tsimikas “brilliant” after his performance against Crystal Palace earlier in the season, but that doesn’t mean he’s a better player than Kerkez.
The Bournemouth ace has had a stellar campaign for Andoni Iraola’s men, and for a fee of £50million, it’s not a surprise to see him being linked with teams such as the Anfield outfit.

Indeed, neither managed to meet the levels that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Robertson have often met over the last few years, but with a tad more fine-tuning, Kerkez could easily become as good as Robertson.
The Hungary international has been one of the many shining lights within the Cherries’ set-up this term, and if his form over the 2024-25 campaign is any indication, he’s destined for greatness.
Indeed, only time will tell whether Atletico or Juventus come in for Tsimikas, but if they do, it’ll nicely open the door for Kerkez to make an instant impact at Anfield.
