Report: Tottenham inform 'important' Everton target to find a new club this summer

Everton are in need of some new wingers this summer following a double exit on Merseyside.

The Toffees have slowly been sharing contract news out of Finch Farm as David Moyes waves goodbye to some of his players.

Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom will leave Everton, which puts a real strain on the options at right-wing.

This summer will be the first real opportunity for the Friedkins to splash some cash at Everton following their takeover in December.

Plenty of work needs doing over the coming months and Moyes is keen to sign a new winger to add some real firepower from out wide.

Although the window has not yet opened for business, Everton have now been encouraged as one of their targets has been told to find a new club.

Tottenham Hotspur tell Everton target to find new club

Everton have been eyeing Manor Solomon as a potential target for the summer following his stunning campaign in the Championship with Leeds United.

Despite impressing for the Whites, his parent club Tottenham Hotspur are looking to move him on over the coming months.

The pacey winger has struggled for minutes since the moment he touched down in north London.

And regardless of what happens to Ange Postecoglou at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Solomon’s future does not lie there.

It is believed Tottenham will be looking to sell the ‘important’ Solomon for £20m on the back of his eye-catching stint in the second tier.

Leeds United will naturally show interest in their former loanee, but it could prove a hefty price to pay for the 25-year-old.

Everton could land double blow on Leeds by signing Solomon

Landing a player like Solomon would be a real blow for Leeds considering the impact he had on their side this season.

Solomon is keen to rejoin Leeds this summer, but it is a question of whether the Whites will stump up that kind of money for him.

Everton have already handed back Harrison to Leeds following another dismal campaign in the Premier League for the winger.

There is still the possibility Everton could sign Harrison permanently, but there could be a lot of Everton fans wishing against that.

Landing Solomon and leaving Leeds with Harrison would be a real double blow for the newly-promoted outfit.
