Aston Villa are exploring a potential summer move for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho, according to CaughtOffside.
The Villans have reportedly been alerted to the Argentinian forward’s upcoming availability in the market, as Garnacho is not part of Ruben Amorim’s plans at Old Trafford next season.
The 20-year-old winger has been told by the Portuguese tactician to leave this summer and has since attracted plenty of suitors, with Bayer Leverkusen also emerging as a potential destination.
The German club have just appointed Erik ten Hag as their new manager, and there is a growing sense that the Dutchman would welcome a reunion with Garnacho this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, Man United would prefer to sell Garnacho permanently this summer and have received indications of growing interest across Europe in the Argentinian winger.
Garnacho’s representatives have reportedly been approached by Serie A giants AC Milan, while Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma are also monitoring his developing situation.
The ‘world-class’ 20-year-old has endured a difficult week at Old Trafford under Amorim, as he was left out of the starting XI for United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham last Wednesday and did not hide his frustration after the match.
Garnacho was then completely omitted from the squad for United’s final game of the season against Aston Villa last weekend and appears to have already played his last match for the club.
Aston Villa welcomed Man United outcast Marcus Rashford on loan in January but are not expected to exercise their £40m buy option to make the move permanent.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there is a growing sense that the England international will embark on a new challenge, with Barcelona now emerging as a potential destination.
