Morgan Rogers sends two-word message to Conference League final hero Cole Palmer amid Chelsea transfer links

Chelsea relied on the brilliance of their most talented player to help them turn things around against Real Betis in the Conference League final.

The Blues were 1-0 down at half-time, however two sensational Cole Palmer assists turned the game on its head and put them in the driver’s seat.

Chelsea went on to win 4-1 in Wroclaw, winning their first trophy of the Todd Boehly era at Stamford Bridge just three days after securing qualification to the Champions League.

Despite not scoring in the final, Palmer was player of the match, and fully earned the opportunity to celebrate in front of the travelling Blues fans at full-time.

Chelsea’s interest in Morgan Rogers

The Blues have been linked to the signing of Rogers this summer as they look to add quality to their attack, despite the four goals against Betis.

Jadon Sancho’s future is not certain, despite finding the net in Poland, and a right-footed player to feature on the left is one of the priorities going into this summer.

Chelsea are sensing a Rogers deal is realistic, and given the fact they secured Champions League qualification over Aston Villa could make them an attractive option for a top English player.

He will of course be wanting to become a starter at Stamford Bridge, with hopes of being called up by Thomas Tuchel to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
