Liverpool's young midfielder Tyler Morton took to Instagram with a rather elusive post, sparking conversation about his future at Anfield which is sure to be a hot topic this summer. International colleague Adam Wharton, who's been linked with a transfer to Liverpool, was quick to engage with the recent update.
Morton has had limited playtime this season, managing five appearances without a single outing in the Premier League, hence he wasn't in line for a title winners' medal when Arne Slot's squad claimed the championship on Sunday, yet he still joined in the subsequent festivities.
Last summer saw the 22-year-old given a $27 million price and attracting a loan bid from Bayer Leverkusen, but the Reds passed up the offer choosing instead to hold onto him for squad depth.
With mere days until the transfer window springs open again, decisions loom for both the club and the midfielder regarding his future.
He posted on social media: "Growing up, I watched this club every chance I got, always by the side of my family. Supporting it wasn't just about football, it was about sharing something special with the people who've supported and cared for me throughout my life.
"To see the joy on everyone's faces when we lifted the trophy... it was the proudest moment I've ever felt as a footballer. Thank you to everyone for your incredible support, as always. [red heart emoji]. You'll Never Walk Alone."
Palace's own technician Wharton was seen showing his support in the replies to a post, commenting: "Unreal brother [red heart emoji]."

Morton and Wharton spent together during the first half of the 2023/24 season at Blackburn Rovers. They featured in 27 matchday squads side by side, playing together 14 times before Wharton caught the eye of Palace and secured a move in January last year.
According to a report from The Daily Mail earlier in May, Palace have slapped an $80 million price tag on Wharton with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Chelsea mentioned as interested parties along with Liverpool.
With an FA Cup victory under its belt, Palace can now offer Europa League football next season, which the club hopes will help keep their talent away from rival clubs.

Following the cup triumph over Manchester City, pundit Roy Keane praised the young player, saying: "He's a classy little player, he always looks like he knows what he's doing.
"Very classy, played well in the semi-final, I know he's been linked with bigger clubs, I like everything about him. There's parts he still needs to improve on but if he's given time, really nice and tidy."
Meanwhile, it seems Liverpool is edging closer to securing Florian Wirtz for a record-breaking sum. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is slated at a value of roughly $160 million.
