Man United are looking to sell several players this summer in order to fund their transfer business.
The Red Devils are likely to see permanent departures of all their players who have been on loan this season, those names being Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho.
Sancho is set to join Chelsea after he scored during their Europa Conference League final against Real Betis. Antony was on the losing side in that match, playing for Betis. But he has seen a resurgence, and there is now considerable interest in him.
Meanwhile, Rashford will return from Aston Villa, with the Premier League club unlikely to sign him for his £40m buy-out clause. It has been suggested that a move to La Liga is most likely for the England international.
Rashford ‘very keen’ on Barcelona move
But after a successful spell with Villa, Rashford’s stock has risen slightly, and the La Liga club are now in talks with him over a move this summer, which would cost £40 million.
Fabrizio Romano posted on X: “He was already keen on joining Barcelona last January… and he remains very keen on the project. Positive feelings on player side again after new meeting, but still early stages club to club. Barça have more options + Man United insist on £40m.”

So, it has been confirmed that Barcelona are speaking with Rashford over a move, however, it is not clear yet as to whether they will be prepared to pay the £40m price tag that United have set due to his buy-out clause at Villa Park.
Since leaving United in January, Rashford had an impressive loan spell with Unai Emery’s side, making 17 appearances, with four goals and six assists to his name.
Rashford has interest from a Premier League rival
Barcelona aren’t the only club that has been linked to Rashford in recent weeks, as there is also reported interest from the Premier League, and it isn’t coming from Aston Villa despite his impressive form for Emery’s side.
The report last month said: “Palace are keeping a very close eye on Rashford and what happens with Villa and United. There is a good buzz around the club at the moment and someone like Marcus is exactly the kind of player they would love to attract. They know they would have to keep onto their better players to try and persuade Marcus to move to South London.”
Those better players would be the likes of Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton, Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Interestingly, Eze has been linked to Man United, which could be a consideration if United get to late August without being able to sell Rashford.
