Manchester United’s summer transfer activity is already heating up, with club officials making it clear that significant changes are on the horizon.
Ruben Amorim, keen to trim his squad and balance the books, is expected to oversee a number of outgoings in the coming weeks.
A host of returning loanees are still uncertain of their futures, with pre-season assessments set to determine who stays and who goes.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s focus on building a younger, hungrier squad has meant the door is now wide open for players to secure permanent moves away.
And one of those under the spotlight is a player whose exit barely registered in January – but who is suddenly back on the radar.
Brazil international Antony left Manchester United in the winter transfer window, completing a loan move to Real Betis after a dramatic dip in form and confidence in England.
The 24-year-old has since rediscovered his spark in Spain, notching nine goals and helping Betis reach the UEFA Conference League final, where they were beaten by Chelsea.
Antony’s impressive resurgence has reignited interest in his future, though nothing concrete has yet been decided.

Speaking to CBS Sports after Betis’ final defeat, the winger refused to commit to any plans, saying: “I don’t know what will happen in the future, only God knows.
“My work is playing and I’m doing that well.
“I have a lot of affection for Betis, for everyone but I have a contract with Man United and I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
He continued: “Now I will go to the national team and then on holiday then we will see what happens in the future.
“I’m very happy here, everyone knows that but I have a contract.”
Antony’s current deal runs until 2027, but United are understood to be keen to recoup some of the £85 million they paid to Ajax for his services.
With Amorim looking to reshuffle his attack and Betis openly impressed, a permanent transfer looks increasingly likely for Antony – though whether United get anywhere near their original outlay remains to be seen.
