Liverpool are apparently ready to listen to offers for promising defender Jarell Quansah this summer — but only if the price is right.
After a season filled with transfer activity, the Reds are expected to continue spending. With deals lined up for Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, and interest in Milos Kerkez, the club’s budget is under pressure. And now, the focus is shifting to sales.
To balance the books, Liverpool are reportedly open to offloading a few players, and Quansah’s name is on the list.
The young center-back has attracted attention from multiple clubs and could be sold for a fee close to £50 million, according to The Daily Mail’s Lewis Steele.
It’s a big call for a player who only played a small part in the title-winning campaign but clearly has potential. At 22, Quansah still has room to grow — and Liverpool know it.

Quansah may not be a regular starter, but he’s certainly not short of suitors. Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are both interested in the Englishman.
And across the channel, Bayer Leverkusen could enter the race too, especially with Jonathan Tah heading to Bayern Munich.
“Quansah has a lot of clubs sniffing around him, keeping an eye on him, both in England and in the German Bundesliga,” Steele said. “Maybe they could try and get Quansah, but Liverpool would want a lot of money for him. We’re talking around £50m.”
The original plan was to loan him out for more experience. But after Liverpool’s spending spree, that plan seems to be offside. Now, a permanent transfer could be on the cards — if a club meets the asking price.
For Liverpool, it’s a strategic move. For Quansah, it could be the start of a new chapter. But at £50 million, he’s no bargain bin buy.
