Report: Tottenham issue fresh Richarlison stance as Everton eye forward’s signature

Everton and The Friedkin Group will want to show serious ambition this window as exciting plans await.

The debut season at Bramley-Moore Dock will need to be a show-stopper after an excellent end to the 24/25 campaign.

There is no better man to make it happen than David Moyes, who has given the club life again, and now Moyes looks to utilise a healthy transfer budget for Everton.

A way he can do this to excite fans is by bringing back Richarlison, who has an uncertain future at Tottenham this summer.

Fans loved the Brazilian in his time at Goodison Park, and with Everton showing interest in Richarlison, Spurs have taken a fresh stance.

Tottenham issue fresh Richarlison stance with Everton interested

With Moyes’ striker options, there isn’t much defending the side of not bringing a new forward in.

Although Beto has proved to be a success, Dominic Calvert-Lewin could still leave Everton as contract talks are underway.

Richarlison has shown he can be unreliable at times through injuries and attitude, but Moyes likes Richarlison, in what could be a real momentum boost of a signing.

Well, ESPN have reported something that will certainly intrigue Evertonians as they look for any sign of this deal happening.

The outlet states that Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou became ‘frustrated’ with Richarlison’s ‘inability to stay fit’, which has led to the club making it clear they are ‘willing’ to listen to offers.

Everton might share concern with Tottenham over Richarlison

Although this seems like a strong case of Everton having a better chance of signing him, it comes with a few concerns for Moyes.

The Scotsman will want players he can rely on next season, and although Richarlison had a strong goalscoring record at Everton, he was also susceptible to injury.

This has been the story of his £50m move to Tottenham, as although this season has shown positive signs, the Spurs hierarchy might not see why he should stay.

Richarlison’s Premier League statistics for Tottenham (24/25)

Games played 15

Goals 4

Shots per 90 3.06

Fouls won per 90 2.34

Duels won per 90 5.22

But the Toffees could see plenty of reason to bring him back, especially as Richarlison wants Champions League with Everton, and what better time than now with The Friedkins working their magic.
