With another second-place finish in the Premier League secured and a run to the final four of the Champions League, there have been plenty of memorable moments in 2024/25.
But only now with the campaign in the rear-view window can look back at the 58-game rollercoaster as a whole and discover a host of interesting stats from the past 10 months.
We’ve crunched the numbers to find where this season ranks, unearth some obscure achievements and discover which players put in the biggest shifts.
GAMES
-----
2024/25 saw us play 58 competitive matches across four competitions, and you have to go back to the 2017/18 campaign for the last time we’ve played more when we hit 60.
That season saw us reach the Europa League final semi-finals and the final of the League Cup, and our exploits in Europa and the Carabao Cup this time around were the first time we played in the semi-finals of two cup competitions in the same campaign since those days under Arsene Wenger’s management.
14 of our 58 fixtures came in the Champions League, where we reached the final four for just a third time, having done so in 2005/06 and 2008/09. We also made the League Cup semi-final for the 17th time, with only Liverpool (20) and Tottenham (18) now appearing in more.

RESULTS
----------
We lost just four games in the Premier League in 2024/25, which was one less than last season. That represents our lowest loss total in a league campaign since 2007/08 when we were beaten just three times.
We spent just 9.8% of our total Premier League minutes trailing this season, the lowest share of any team in the division.
We also won nine games in the Champions League which is our best ever total in our 21 seasons in the competition. For a second consecutive season, we won all of our home games in the league/group phase without conceding a single goal, meaning we are the only side to participate in each of the last two seasons and win every home game before the knockouts.

GOALS
--------
We hit the back of the net 115 times in 2024/25, only one less than we managed last season, which had been the most we’ve netted in a single season since 2016/17.
We scored the third most in the Premier League, hitting the net 69 times behind only Liverpool and Manchester City. This achievement is all the more impressive given that we had the seventh-highest xG in the league (59.7), meaning we scored nine more than we should have given the chances we created.
For a second season in a row, we held the division's best defensive record, conceding a league-low 34 times, while also giving up the least xG (35) and conceding the fewest big chances (58).
No top-flight team kept more than our 13 clean sheets, with David Raya sharing the Premier League Golden Glove with Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest. Since making his Arsenal debut, he has registered 29 league shutouts, four more than any other goalkeeper.
PLAYERS
-------
Overall, we used 32 players this season, our most since 2020/21 (33).
Leandro Trossard made a team-high 56 appearances, the most by a player for us since both Lee Dixon and Nigel Winterburn played 57 in 1994/95. The only two games the Belgian failed to feature in were against Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End in the League Cup.
However, when it comes to minutes played, William Saliba leads the way for outfielders with 4,446 across his 51 games, with Declan Rice (4,127) and Thomas Partey (3,945) with the next highest totals.
Between the posts, Raya made 55 appearances this season, the most by a goalkeeper for us since David Seaman in 1993/94.
12 players featured for us for the first time, and we last had more debutants in 2011/12 (14). That was also the season where nine teenagers played for us, meaning the eight we fielded this year was our highest since then.
Jack Porter became the youngest ever player to start a competitive game for us against Bolton Wanderers, just 72 days after his 16th birthday. At the other end of the spectrum, fellow shot-stopper Neto became our oldest ever debutant since 1915 when he appeared against Girona aged 35 years and 194 days.
