Finishing bottom of the Premier League usually spells trouble when it comes to commanding sizeable fees, but Tyler Dibling could be an exception. Whether through a significant sale or as a key figure in their Championship rebuild, his Premier League experience could prove invaluable.

Tyler Dibling doesn’t include Virgil van Dijk in Southampton dream team
In a recent feature on EA Sports FC Uncut, Southampton’s young talent, Dibling, unveiled his ultimate five-a-side team.
He omitted former Saints defender Virgil van Dijk, a decision that will spark discussions among fans.
Kelvin Davis, Jose Fonte, James Ward-Prowse, Dusan Tadic and Sadio Mane all got the nod from Tyler. His choices showed a priority for achievements at Southampton rather than the general careers of players.
Though van Dijk’s career took off after leaving the south coast, Dibling’s selection reflects a deeper connection to players whose legacies were truly forged at St Mary’s.

Jose Fonte captained Southampton during their record-breaking 2015-2016 season, where they finished 6th with 63 points. Yet, when it comes to naming standout defenders, many would be quicker to mention the current Liverpool captain.
Mane’s inclusion may be a nod to his astonishing record for the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history, scoring three goals in just 2 minutes and 56 seconds, breaking Robbie Fowler’s long-standing record.

Dibling could leave Southampton this summer
Despite a largely disappointing campaign from the Saints, Dibling has attracted heavy interest from a series of clubs, including the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City.
With a possible £100m fee being touted, bank balances will be tested if any club wants to secure the 19-year-old’s signature.
