“Has a lot to give” – Manchester United player’s agent talks up transfer options

Christian Eriksen is set to depart Manchester United at the end of June and the midfielder found the perfect way to bid farewell by scoring in his last Premier League game for the club.

The Denmark international will feature for his national side in the next few weeks and question marks about his future at club level will only grow.

His agent Martin Schoots spoke to Denmark’s BT yesterday and was asked about the possibility of the Manchester United player returning to a Danish club.

Schoots was clear that Eriksen can still play at the highest level and therefore a return to Denmark isn’t on the cards.

He said: “Christian is still ambitious and has a lot to give to a bigger league.

“I can easily see him playing in his home country in the future, but I think for now it will only be for the national team,”

This comes at a time when Eriksen has been linked with a move Spanish side RCD Mallorca.

Claims from Spain on Wednesday stated Mallorca have been contacted by an agent trying to tempt them into signing Eriksen. Living on the Spanish island is thought to be attractive for the Manchester United player, and it certainly looks like a good next step for his career.
