Green Bay airport adds more flights to home games for distant Packers fans

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport is adding more round-trip flights to allow distant Packers fans to make the trip to Lambeau Field.

American Airlines is adding flights for Packers home games against the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers. The games against the Commanders and Eagles are primetime games.

One flight will leave Reagan Washington National Airport on Thursday, Sept. 11, for the Thursday night game and return on Friday.

One jet will depart Philadelphia International Airport on the morning of Monday, Nov. 10, for their Monday Night Football game and return on Tuesday.

Two flights are planned from Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Saturday, Nov. 1, for the Sunday matchup. Both flights will head back Monday.

Austin Straubel airport recommends checking its website for anyone planning on going to Packers away games this season.
