“It looked like Manchester United would be signing him, but missing out on the Champions League complicates things,” the source revealed.
“Manchester City is also very, very interested in signing him. Talks have been held with offers being made.”
Trubin, Ukraine’s current number one with 19 senior caps, has already racked up 59 league appearances for Benfica since joining from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023.
At just 23, he fits the profile of a modern keeper: composed, confident with his feet, and dominant in his area.
