Brentford has reportedly made a bid for Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher following the goalie's public transfer request last September. And Liverpool has set its price.
His plea came in the wake of the Reds bringing in Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia. Kelleher, aged 26 and ten years into his Liverpool career since joining from Ringmahon Rangers in Ireland, has racked up 67 appearances for the first team.
However, he has never managed to dethrone Alisson as the main keeper. The acquisition of Mamardashvili last summer for £29 million ($39 million) by Arne Slot cleared the way forward with a different shot-stopper between the posts. Sky Sports reports that Brentford is in dialogue with Liverpool regarding Kelleher, hot off the heels of Bayer Leverkusen eyeing up the Bees' current keeper Mark Flekken.
It is understood that Kelleher is valued at £20M ($27M) by Liverpool, with Brentford leading the chase for the Irish international amid keen interest from various sides.
With Erik ten Hag, ex-Manchester United manager, at the helm, Leverkusen is negotiating a possible £12M ($16M) deal for Flekken, opening a door for Brentford to consider selling.
With one more year on his Liverpool contract, Kelleher's priority is snagging regular first-team action.
After the dust settled on last summer's transfer window shenanigans, he laid out his ambitions, saying: "I made it clear in the last few years that I want to go somewhere and be a No. 1.

"The club has made that decision to get a goalkeeper, which makes it look like they've made a decision to go another direction.
"Liverpool have rejected a few bids as well. It's not always in my hands to fully make the decision. My ambition is clear. I'm good enough and I want to go and play week in, week out."
Meanwhile, Heimir Hallgrimsson, the Republic of Ireland manager, detailed his thoughts earlier in the month: "I just want him to go to a club where he will play on a regular basis.
"He has been playing at the highest level, whether it's the Champions League or the Premier League, and done really well. I just want him to be happy and playing regularly.
"I know he wants to be playing at the highest level. I guess - I don't know for sure - he will be playing at the highest level.
"He has spoken about that himself. I don't mind [where], so long as he's playing on a regular basis because he is too good not to be playing."
