Liverpool’s post-season party got a surprise message straight from Hollywood — and it wasn’t a casting call. NBA superstar LeBron James sent a personal video greeting to the Reds’ squad after they lifted their 20th league title, and it was full of love, pride, and a bit of that famous “You’ll Never Walk Alone” spirit.
James, who’s been a minority investor in Liverpool since 2011 and now holds a stake in Fenway Sports Group, has long been a vocal supporter of the club.
From rocking the Reds’ kit courtside to visits at Anfield, King James hasn’t been shy about where his football loyalty lies.
So, when Liverpool players gathered for their end-of-season celebration at the Municipal Hotel, they were greeted by more than medals and music — they were greeted by a king.

What LeBron James said in the heartfelt video?
In a video shown at the event, LeBron shared his emotions with the team after their Premier League triumph.
“I want to say congratulations to the champions of the English Premier League, once again bringing home another trophy,” he said. “You know it is always special to do it with a group of guys that you love. It is super special.” (Quotes via Liverpool ECHO)
He singled out team captains with warm words: “Shout out to the captains, Virgil and Mo, salute to you brothers. Continue to lead, continue to strive for greatness and always know You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
He signed off with a final cheer: “So go Reds. Love you guys.”
But the celebrations weren’t without somber moments. James later took to social media to express his condolences following a tragic accident during Liverpool’s title parade.
“OMG!!!! WTH. My deepest thoughts and prayers goes out to everyone affected that attended the Premier League trophy parade today! Such a senseless act!” he posted on X.
LeBron James might be a basketball legend, but when it comes to football — he’s clearly got both feet in the Liverpool camp.
