Man United have been tipped by former Red Devils Teddy Sheringham to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White this summer.
United are looking to add more firepower in attack as they aim to bring in players who can help create more goals for Ruben Amorim‘s side, who were the fifth-lowest-scoring team in the Premier League this season.
Gibbs-White has been linked to rivals Manchester City as a long-term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne. The England international made 34 Premier League appearances for Forest this season, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.

Former United striker Teddy Sheringham believes that the Red Devils should try and sign the 25-year-old instead of letting him go to Man City.
He told Prime Casino: “I think he definitely could be the man to replace Kevin De Bruyne, but I think that he could be exactly the player that Manchester United should be going for.
“He is certainly one player who shines like a beacon, someone who makes a difference on the football pitch. He will definitely very much be sought after during the summer transfer window. He’s top of my list at the moment. I just think if he’s available to move on and he’s ready to leave Forest, I think every club would want him in their armoury.”
Gibbs-White would be the ideal Bruno Fernandes replacement
If United were to sign the Nottingham Forest star, it would likely be because of the possible departure of Bruno Fernandes. Reports have said recently that the Red Devils could sell their captain this summer.
Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have reportedly said they are willing to pay £100m for Fernandes, the exact amount that Forest are reportedly demanding for Gibbs-White.
The English midfielder could come in as a like for like swap for Fernandes, and replace the 30-year-old in Ruben Amorim’s starting XI.
