Inter and Milan have overtaken Juventus for their enterprise value, while the Bianconeri are still dealing with a ‘spiral of unsustainable costs’ starting with the Cristiano Ronaldo era and the COVID pandemic.
Football Benchmark has published its 10th annual Football Clubs’ Valuation, ranking the 32 most prominent football clubs in Europe by their enterprise value.
Real Madrid once again take the top spot with an enterprise value of €6.3 billion. Manchester clubs City and United remain on the podium with a value exceeding €5 billion.
The latest ranking is particularly meaningful for Serie A clubs, as Juventus no longer hold the top spot in Italy, with Milan and Inter overtaking the Old Lady.

The Rossoneri have the highest enterprise value in the league: €1.8 billion, 26% more than in the previous campaign.
Milan are among the best performers over the last year, alongside Arsenal (29% increase), Eintracht Frankfurt (32%), Real Sociedad (35%), and Aston Villa (42%).
Inter sit second in Serie A with an estimated enterprise value of €1.7 billion, a 20% increase compared to last year.
Juventus dropped by a further 3% in the last 12 months, and their latest enterprise value is now €1.6 billion.
As explained by Gazzetta, the financial situation for Italian clubs was profoundly different just five years ago.
Back in 2020, Juventus’ asset value was €1.7 billion, more than Inter’s (€983m) and Milan’s (€526m).
Andrea Sartori, CEO and founder of Football Benchmark, told Gazzetta: “Juventus have undoubtedly lost a competitive edge they had gained until the start of the COVID pandemic, entering, with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, a spiral of unsustainable costs that are only now beginning to be cut.”
