Darwin Nunez has posted on social media amid the ongoing speculation about his future at Liverpool. The Uruguayan is tipped to depart from the Reds this summer after a disappointing season where he struggled to impress new head coach Arne Slot.
Despite making 47 appearances in Liverpool's title-winning campaign, the forward only started 17 times, with just eight of those starts coming in the Premier League. He only netted seven goals as Slot began to favor Luis Diaz over both Nunez and Diogo Jota.
Nunez continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield this summer. It is thought that interest from Saudi Arabia remains, while clubs such as Atletico Madrid and AC Milan have also been linked.
Liverpool is hoping to seal a club-record deal with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz, which could surpass the potential $113 million (£85 million) that the Reds agreed to pay when they signed Nunez from Benfica in the summer of 2022.
While Nunez's future may be up in the air, it didn't prevent him from featuring for the Reds in their final match of the season against Crystal Palace. Coming off the bench, the striker played a crucial role as his cross led to Mohamed Salah's late equalizer in the 1-1 draw.
Whether it turns out to be his last hurrah for the team remains to be seen, but at 25, the player might just have concluded his Liverpool stint in grand fashion as the Reds lifted the Premier League trophy following their stalemate with the Eagles.

Fans serenaded Nunez as he lifted the latest addition to the club's trophy cabinet aloft on the Kop.
Later, he was among his teammates, basking in glory atop an open-top bus during the trophy parade on Bank Holiday morning.
After the celebrations, the forward took to social media to express his gratitude, posting a series of images and a heartfelt thanks in English — a rarity for him.
Nunez shared photos of himself aboard the bus, both clutching and planting a kiss on the Premier League trophy, featuring the likes of Salah, Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister.

He even posted video clips from the procession and a snap of himself capturing the jubilant crowds with his phone. Using Instagram to convey his appreciation, Nunez penned on his post: "Unforgettable. Thank you, Liverpool" complete with a love heart emoji.
Liverpool.com says: This summer is the right time for Nunez to move on. He has done well at times for Liverpool but has never been consistent and Slot clearly doesn't want him in the starting XI regularly.
His goalscoring has never clicked into gear and he doesn't appear a great fit for what Slot wants from his number nine out of possession. There will be interest in him and the Reds should be able to find an upgrade.
