Alcaraz is a smart signing for Moyes
When Alcaraz was plying his trade in the Premier League for Southampton, there were signs of promise.
The Argentinian possessed the flair required to be a success in the top flight, which Everton have benefitted from further at Goodison.
Although the 23-year-old moved to Brazil, his pathway back to England was paved by Everton, who brought him back in the winter window.
Since joining the North West club, Alcaraz has impressed, and that has evidently done enough to earn the permanent move he will have been craving.
His goal against Newcastle was superb, as he showed great desire to soar above the Magpies’ defence and finish his season off in style.
As Everton move to pastures new, they will need quality players to lead them into their new era, and Alcaraz is the man to do just that.
