Man Utd lost to Spurs in the Europa League final. They were close and the better team in the final, but could not score. Jadon Sancho, on loan at Chelsea, managed the opposite as he helped Chelsea to a special 4-1 win vs. Real Betis.
Another Man Utd player, Antony, were on the opposite side in the final. Sancho and Antony are out on loan, both looks likely to return to Man Utd, reaching a European final, Sancho coming home as winner.
Looking up the teams who are through to Champions Leauge final next Saturday, you will find two other players with a past at Man Utd. 36 year old midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan and 35 year old defender Matteo Darmian. The two never really hit it off at Old Trafford, but never the less being players that will take part in this years Champions League final vs. PSG.
⚫️🔵🇦🇲 Official, confirmed. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has signed new deal at Inter valid until June 2026.

Looking up the Serie A table you will also find a title celebrator in Scott McTominay. He left Man Utd to join Napoli back in August last year. The fee paid was £25.7 million. There are so many faults in all departments at this football club, so you start to wonder how this is possible.
All credit to their run in Europa League and also being able to win titles in cup competitions, but you would believe they had an eye for players who actually manage to get the ball over the line and contribute to great victories elsewhere.
Man Utd are on the map for all the wrong reasons this season. To see so many previous players more or less being dumped, but finding their way to the top with a special heart and eye for success.
