Merseyside Police have named the suspect involved in the incident that marred Liverpool's Premier League title parade.
On Monday, around 6pm, a video posted on social media showed a car driving down Water Street in the city centre, striking down many supporters.
It was later confirmed by Merseyside Police that a 53-year-old white British man was arrested.
David Kitchin of North West Ambulance Service then revealed that 20 people were treated at the scene and out of the 27 taken to hospital, two suffered serious injuries.

On Thursday, the police named the suspect as 53-year-old Paul Doyle, from the West Derby area of the city.
The BBC stated: "Merseyside Police name 53-year-old man Paul Doyle as the suspect in the Liverpool crash.
"He is from the West Derby area of the city, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS Mersey-Cheshire Sarah Hammond says."
Police confirm the seven charges that Paul Desmond Sanders Doyle faces are:
Two counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
Two counts of causing unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
Two counts of attempted unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
One count of dangerous driving
Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims said: "Now that Paul Doyle has been charged, we ask that the judicial process be allowed to continue without any speculation online or elsewhere that could impede the pursuit of justice for all those affected.
"A total of 79 people who were injured continue to be in contact with our officers and staff, and seven people remain in hospital, receiving the expert care of our NHS colleagues. I hope that all of those who were injured, or witnessed this terrible incident are able - given time - to heal and recover."

Sims went on to add that detectives are reviewing a huge amount of video footage from CCTV, dashboard cameras and other sources.
It has been revealed that Doyle will appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning for an initial hearing.
According to the BBC, the 53-year-old is a local businessman and a father of three.
A neighbout of Doyle told the BBC: "I came out late on Monday night and there's police everywhere. Looking around all the houses, so I had a thought - imagine if it was him?
"I thought it was him but I didn't believe that it was. I see him all the time walking up and down with his two sons and his dog. He's just a normal person."
