Trail Blazers’ 4th predraft workout filled with 1st-round prospects

The Portland Trail Blazers are hosting their first group of potential first-round NBA draft prospects for workouts on Thursday.

The morning workouts include Georgia forward Asa Newell, Saint Joseph’s forward Rasheer Fleming, Connecticut forward Liam McNeeley, Illinois forward Will Riley, Michigan State guard Jase Richardson, and Qingdao Eagles (China) center Hansen Yang.

Yang is the only one not projected to be a first-round pick by most major mock drafts.

The Blazers have the No. 11 pick in the first round of the draft, which will be held on June 25-26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Blazers do not have a second-round pick.

The first three predraft workout sessions involved 18 players projected to be second-round picks or undrafted free agents.
