Bayer Leverkusen are preparing for a seismic shift this summer as they brace for the departure of multiple key players – including playmaker Florian Wirtz, centre-back Jonathan Tah and right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
Though Liverpool and Leverkusen have not yet agreed a fee for Wirtz, it’s widely accepted the deal will go through.
Bayer are expected to earn a record-breaking sum that will transform their transfer strategy.

Once the deal is sealed, Bayer will have the financial muscle to chase targets previously considered out of reach.
With Wirtz’s exit set to leave a creative void, Bayer are now prioritising two high-level attacking signings to replace him and strengthen their front line.
Erik ten Hag eyeing swoop for Manchester United duo
According to German outlet Kicker, one of those players is Manchester United’s Antony.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Real Betis, where he has rediscovered his form.
Antony made his name under Erik ten Hag at Ajax before the Dutchman brought him to Old Trafford in a blockbuster move.
The Brazilian has scored nine times for Betis this season, and with United keen to offload him permanently, Leverkusen are exploring a move.
He spoke on his future last night following UEFA Conference League final loss to Chelsea.
Antony said: “I have a lot of affection for Betis, for everyone but I have a contract with Man United.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
He continued: “Now I will go to the national team and then on holiday then we will see what happens in the future.”

The other United player high on Ten Hag’s list as per Kicker’s report is Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentinian is being pushed out following internal tensions with new manager Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho’s lack of tactical discipline and public frustration after the Europa League final snub have raised concerns at United.
Thus opening the door for a Bundesliga switch.
Though Leverkusen would prefer a loan move, United are prioritising a permanent sale amid interest from AC Milan, Napoli and other Serie A clubs.
Should Leverkusen land both Antony and Garnacho, it would signal a major shift in ambition.
As well as a bold reunion between Ten Hag and two of his former players.
