Having been linked with [West Ham](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-source-noble-still-in-talks-for-celtic-wonderkid/) throughout the winter window, it is a relief to hear that finally West Ham have got their (young) man and landed a hugely talented striker which will be a massive boost ahead of 1st June.
Mark Noble was tasked with the capture of Celtic’s **Dominic Cummings** – already a Champions League debutant at just 18 years of age, and according to renown ITK [Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1928129359044370749?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1928129359044370749%7Ctwgr%5E50353a6d1e07e1970d5235f6e41fb0dedc0c5a35%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.westhamzone.com%2Ftransfers%2Fcummings-to-join-on-july-1-as-west-ham-seal-new-striker-transfer-agreement%2F), West Ham’s first concluded business of the summer.
Cummings will join on 1st July and has been the subject of Romano’s famous _‘here we go’_ trademark declaration of a done deal:
_” Daniel Cummings will join West Ham on July 1st, agreement done and here we go! Celtic talent has scored 30 goals this season and made his Champions League debut at Villa Park. Medical complete and deal done. Celtic will get €300k training compensation.”_
Likely to go straight into preseason with the seniors, Cummings was starved of match time opportunities by Brendan Rodgers and so has made the move south specifically in search of first team opportunities. Cannot wait to see how he progresses under Graham Potter’s coaching.
