The star in question here is Rodrygo Goes. According to Dario AS, the Blues are likely to hold talks with Rodrygo very soon. They find the 24 year old as a perfect fit in Enzo Maresca’s system.
Chelsea have qualified for Champions League next season. They will guarantee the 24 year old position in his preferred left-wing position. As of now, Rodrygo has to play in right position as Madrid have Vinicius and Mbappe both playing in left area.
Firstly, Madrid are said to be ready to sell Rodrygo for around €100 million. However, they can change their plans if Xabi Alonso finds the Brazilian fit in his plans. Chelsea will hope that the Spanish boss makes Rodrygo available in market.
Rodrygo will definately be an upgrade on most of the Chelsea wingers. Sancho is likely to get sold whereas Madueke and Neto have been inconsistent. Lastly, the Blues are also set to sell Nkunku, Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk.
