Ruben Amorim’s can't hide laughter when Amad was asked about Garnacho's Man Utd future [video]

Ruben Amorim's reaction to a question asked to Amad Diallo about Alejandro Garnacho's future at Manchester United has gone viral amid ongoing reports that the Argentine starlet has played his final game for the club. Amorim is believed to have told Garnacho, "you better pray that you can find a club to sign you," following the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, and the forward was subsequently left out of the squad for the final game of the season against Aston Villa.

The winger is part of the squad that has travelled to Asia as part of a post-season tour, though Amorim has been coy when responding to questions about him. This led to a journalist asking Amad - who himself has been embroiled in controversy during the trip - for his thoughts, prompting an interesting reaction from his boss.

Amorim's Viral Reaction to Garnacho Question

The United boss couldn't hold it together

When Amad was asked by a journalist whether he wanted to see Garnacho stay at the club, his manager could be seen openly laughing to himself in the footage that has already been viewed over 1.7 million times on X alone.

While some fans have claimed that Amorim was reacting to a text message he was allegedly looking at, others have called out the 40-year-old's lack of professionalism.

In response to the question, the Ivorian winger admitted that he hoped his teammate, with whom he is believed to have forged a good relationship, stays at the club:

"Alejandro is a really good player, we need good players in the team. I know Garna really well. I hope to have Garna next season. (It) is not really a big issue for the team."

It is widely expected that Garnacho will be one of several high-profile players to leave the club in the summer in order to recoup finances that will be used to bring in new players who fit Amorim's 3-4-2-1 system. Among the frontrunners for the Argentine's signature are Chelsea and Napoli, with a return to Atletico Madrid also a possibility.
