Jadon Sancho’s future has been clouded in uncertainty for more than a year, with no clear direction since his exile from Manchester United last season.
The winger joined Chelsea on loan before the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

However, doubts over whether he would remain at Stamford Bridge have lingered all year.
Despite the obligation to buy Sancho for £25m, Chelsea were previously reported to be considering a £5m penalty payment to cancel the deal and send him back to Old Trafford.
Even after a productive run of form late in the season, there remained hesitation over whether the Blues would commit long-term.
But that may be changing now.
Chelsea pushing to keep Jadon Sancho
As per Sky Sports News’ report, Chelsea are in talks with Sancho’s representatives about agreeing new contract terms to keep him at the club.
The club want to retain the 25-year-old if they can strike a deal that fits within their wage structure.
Sancho, who has one year left on his lucrative Manchester United contract worth up to £300,000 per week, scored five goals and registered 10 assists for Chelsea this season in all competitions.
One of those goals came in Wednesday’s UEFA Conference League final, where he came off the bench to score Chelsea’s third in a 4-1 win over Real Betis.

Jadon Sancho joined United from Borussia Dortmund for £73m in 2021, but could now be set for a fresh chapter in west London – if contract terms are agreed.
The Englishman hasn’t necessarily thrived at Chelsea, although has produced moments of quality throughout the season.
Sancho came clutch for Chelsea on a few occasions in the league, whilst contributing in the UEFA Conference League.
The talent is there – however it’s unlikely United fans will see that at Old Trafford again.
