On Wednesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves learned what so many other teams know: the Oklahoma City Thunder are not to be messed with.
The T-Wolves were pushed out of the playoffs by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his team, and Anthony Edwards was floored by their effort.
Following the game, he talked about how OKC operates and how they are impossible to contain.
“15 puppets on one string,” Edwards said about the Thunder, via Hoop Central.

One of the things that has been so challenging for other teams this season is how the Thunder always operates like a cohesive and strong unit.
Night after night and team after team, the Thunder have found a way to win.
Although Gilgeous-Alexander is the leader of the team, there are many members of the Thunder who are able to deliver consistently.
On both offense and defense, the Thunder are strong and nonstop.
And when all of the players are performing well, nothing can get in their way.
The Timberwolves learned that the hard way on Wednesday, and now they are off on their summer vacation.
As for the Thunder, they are pushing into the NBA Finals and will play against either the Indiana Pacers or the New York Knicks.
Can they continue to perform like 15 puppets on one string, led by Gilgeous-Alexander?
They hit their stride during this series against the Timberwolves, and now they have to keep it up as the pressure and expectations grow bigger.
If they can continue to play like a solidified and well-oiled machine, the Pacers or Knicks will have a really tough time beating them.
