Alan Smith assesses Manchester United's striker options ahead of busy summer window
It's bound to be a big summer of change at Old Trafford after a dismal campaign for Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim's team finished in their worst-ever Premier League finish and succumbed to defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final.

It's no secret that the club needs to recruit ahead of next season, with new blood needed throughout the squad, but most notably in the attacking third, and former Red Devil Alan Smith has already been assessing the club's options for a new striker.
Speaking to DAZN News, thanks to Northern Nicotine pouches online, Smith has earmarked two possible candidates to fill that void.

He said, "When you look around and think who they should sign, looking around world football, there aren’t too many that jump out at you.
"For me, Isak would be one, Joao Pedro would be another that I’d be looking at because he has all the attributes and has experience and kicked on at Brighton.
"Cunha at Wolves as well, and he looks like the personality type that could handle it, looks confident enough to say ‘give me the ball and let me do what I can do’. He was under that expectation of trying to keep Wolves up in the league.
"You look at those players, Joao Pedro and Cunha and ask if they would improve Manchester United? Probably, yes. I think they would want to join United.
"I think it’s actually a great time to join United and just show that I’m the man. It’s a great challenge and for someone to be able to do that gives them a massive opportunity to become the man."

Another striker that's set to be in demand is Ipswich's Liam Delap, who has a relegation release clause of just £30 million after the Tractor Boys exited the top flight.
Delap scored 12 goals in a struggling side this season, and Smith thinks he'd be a welcome addition alongside Rasmus Hojlund in United's attack.
Adding, "I like him, yeah. You question why Man City let him go, but was he going to play for them? Maybe not.
"He’s a bit old-school in the way that he plays, but I don’t know which route United are going to go down in terms of signing people. I wouldn’t swap Hojlund for Delap, but I think getting him in as an addition to Hojlund.
"I think there’s a lot for Hojlund to carry as the only out-and-out striker that they’ve got, and it’s not been easy for him at all."
