When the National Football League's owners voted to approve a proposal for players to participate in flag football at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, the first question on just about everyone's mind was simple: Will Patrick Mahomes play?
On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback was officially asked that question.

His response?
"I'll probably leave that to the younger guys," Mahomes said to reporters.
Mahomes, currently 29, will be 32 by the time the 2028 Olympics roll around. It's safe to assume he'll still be one of the premier quarterbacks in the league at that time, as thus far in his career, he's proved to be the best.
Across eight seasons, Mahomes has already made six Pro Bowls and three Super Bowls while winning two regular season MVP awards and three Super Bowl MVPs.
He's thrown for over 30,000 yards with 245 touchdowns and 74 interceptions. He's led the Chiefs to a record of 89-23 in the regular season over that time.
