Barcelona sporting director Deco is not entirely convinced by the talents of one player heavily linked with a move to the club this summer.
That’s according to **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20250529/1002473668/luis-diaz-joan-garcia-objetivos-prioritarios-barca.html)**, who point towards Marcus Rashford as the player in question.
The name of wide-man Rashford has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 horus.
This comes after the Englishman’s agent was spotted in a hotel in Barcelona, awaiting a meeting with Blaugrana sporting director Deco.
Barca are understood to have [shifted focus towards Rashford](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barcelona-reunion-fichaje-marcus-rashford-117903630) amid struggles in finding a deal with Liverpool for priority target Luis Díaz.
In turn, it may come as something of a surprise to hear that Deco himself is not fully sold on Rashford’s talents.
As per a report from MD:
‘Luis Díaz is Deco’s priority, and he also has Rashford as an alternative, but he’s not as convinced by the Englishman.’
