Having finished as Premier League runners-up in three consecutive seasons, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be desperate to see his side go one better next time around.
The Gunners were twice pipped to top spot by Manchester City before Liverpool came out on top this term.
Arteta has received praise for the improvement his side have shown since he first took charge of the club, but the Spaniard may find himself under increasing pressure if the Gunners fail to lift a trophy next season.
With that in mind, the North London outfit are likely to be busy in the transfer market this summer, and it appears that they are considering a move for a former Premier League winger.
According to TBR Football, Arsenal are discussing a possible move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, 29.

The Germany international previously spent time in England with Man City, making more than 130 appearances during a trophy-laden spell at The Etihad.
Since moving to Bavaria, the winger has scored 61 goals and registered 55 assists in 220 appearances for Bayern across all competitions.
Sane’s current contract with the German champions is set to expire at the end of June, and the report claims that the Gunners are therefore considering tabling an offer to sign the player on a free transfer.
Sane won two Premier League titles with City before joining Bayern in a £55 million move in 2020.
The German is said to have already received offers from a number of clubs, including Bayern, meaning his future is currently very much uncertain.
Arsenal are on the hunt for a new winger to bolster Arteta’s squad, though, and Sane could be a good candidate to do so.
The winger netted 39 goals and provided 44 assists during his time with Man City.
