It’s recently emerged that the agent of Bruno Fernandes has been spotted in Riyadh, staying at a hotel near to Al-Hilal’s camp, amid strong links between the club and the Manchester United captain.

Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho carried out face-to-face talks with Al-Hilal’s chief at a hotel in Riyadh on Thursday night, with a massive £300 million deal on the cards.

The Saudi side have been pushing to sign the talented midfielder, offering Manchester United £100 million for their captain.

Fernandes himself has been offered a £200 million deal over three-years, earning him £65 million per season, equating to £700,000 per week.

This offer is a massive step up for the 30-year-old, currently earning £280,000 per week at Old Trafford.

Whilst Fernandes has voiced his desire to stay at Old Trafford, he’s also accepted a need to leave the club if United deem it’s the right time and need to generate funds.

Unfortunately, this meeting of Fernandes’ agent with the Saudi side appears to be a sign of the time being upon us that Fernandes and United part ways.

Bruno Fernandes looks set for Saudi move

The Daily Mail has revealed details of the meeting between the two camps, as Pinho sparks further speculation with his trip to meet with Al-Hilal president Fahad bin Nafel.

Ben Jacobs of Give Me Sport has also added that the discussions have been labelled as “productive” by Al-Hilal who are hoping to sign the talented Portugal international.

It’s understood that the Saudi side are pushing for the move to add Fernandes to their ranks ahead of the Club World Cup next month, setting a 72 hour deadline for their massive offer at the start of the week.

Al-Hilal has insisted that the offer hasn’t been rejected, with the club making significant efforts to get a deal over the line in the last few days.

Unfortunately United fans may need to brace themselves to say goodbye to their captain as United’s current ASia tour may also be a farewell one for the Portuguese star.
