Manchester United are looking like they are growing ever closer to losing their captain Bruno Fernandes as negotiations between the Portuguese star and Al-Hilal intensify.
Al-Hilal’s interest in signing Fernandes ahead of the Club World Cup is becoming widely known, as the Saudi side have launched a monumental offer for the midfielder.
The offer on the table is for a transfer fee of £100 million for United, and a three-year contract valued at £200 million for Fernandes, earning him £700,000 per week.
Speculation over the deal being taken up has now been increased with Fernandes’ agent being seen meeting with with Al-Hilal’s president in a hotel in Riyadh close to the club’s camp. Whilst the talks continued late into the night, the Saudi club has reported them as productive.

Bruno Fernandes sets out his demands for Al-Hilal
Now, Alhanyan of the Al-Riyadh newspaper has reported that Al-Hilal’s management have met the demands set to them by Fernandes’ agent as they met this week.
Whilst it’s unknown what these demands entailed, given that the Saudi side are offering £300 million for the star, it’s of no great surprise that they’re willing to give him whatever he wants.
It’s understood that Fernandes’ representative is heading back to meet with the star to get a final response on a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
Whilst it’s understood that Fernandes wants to remain at Old Trafford, he will also respect United’s decision if they deem the time is right to sell him, which seems to be the case.
