There is plenty of excitement already for the 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and as we get closer to training camp, that excitement will mount as we get to take a look at the newcomers on both offense and defense.
While the Bucs have been disrespected for years by the national media, it's never bothered the team or the players, they just continue to be consistent.
NFL.com has given proper credit where credit is due, finally, by naming the Buccaneers on its list of the top 10 most complete teams in the league, at No. 7.
"The Bucs have won 57 games over the past five seasons (including playoffs), deftly handling what could have been a difficult transition post-Tom Brady. Baker Mayfield’s reemergence is a major reason for them landing in the top 10, but the overall health of the roster might be as strong as it has been since Brady led the Bucs to a Super Bowl title five years ago," NFL.com wrote. "The Bucs might lack true blue-chip talent at several positions, and not everyone might be convinced that Mayfield is a true difference-maker and winner.
"But the pieces are there for another division-title run -- and perhaps more. If the explosive offense hits peak performance, this might be one of the higher-scoring attacks in the league."
The teams that joined the Bucs on the list shouldn't surprise anyone. The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are No. 1, followed by No. 2 Baltimore Ravens, No. 3 Detroit Lions, No. 4 Kansas City Chiefs, No. 5 Buffalo Bills, No. 6 Minnesota Vikings, No. 7 Bucs, No. 8 Green Bay Packers, No. 9 San Francisco 49ers and No. 10 Denver Broncos.
