It’s been almost three days since Jordan Love was mercilessly trolled for his throw during the ceremonial pitch in a Milwaukee Brewers game.

Now, he’s defending himself.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was invited by the Wisconsin’s no. 1 pro baseball team in a special ceremony and he gladly accepted the offer. His throw, however, is not that well-received.

He threw the baseball in an arc that even got out of frame before reaching Brewers’ star and designated catcher Christian Yelich. He was trolled in X after that with some saying he should stick to American football.

Love said it has been a while since he threw a baseball and when he got to the American Family Field, he tried to do it as if he was throwing for the gridiron.

“First pitch, it made it there. A little bit of a lob pass. Threw it like a football,” he told reporters after the conclusion of the Packers’ first OTA session.

“Definitely need to get some more experience throwing a baseball. Get a little warmup next time, and I’ll be good. Next pitch will be better.”

Jordan Love says people should still give it to him

Lots of things have been said about his pitch.

Yikes, hopefully thats not a sign of his accuracy this season…..

While his pitching is being held to a high standard by some trolls, Love thought there’s still something good that he did.

He had a good takeaway from that moment and thought he should be forgiven for it.

“I’m just happy I got it there, didn’t skip it,” Love said.
