Nottingham Forest are set to compete with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Swedish sensation Roony Bardghji and have three secret weapons to help them secure the talented forward.
Excitement grew as Forest were linked with Bardghji on Wednesday, with the F.C. Copenhagen gem attracting plenty of eyes since he burst onto the scene at just 16 years old.
The Swedish winger suffered a serious knee injury in 2024 that has slowed down his meteoric rise, but Forest, along with Premier League rivals Tottenham, remain convinced of his talents.
Tottenham are said to be the current favourites in the Bardghji race, but the City Ground club have an advantage over Spurs that they could not have expected.

Evangelos Marinakis is familiar with Roony Bardghji’s agent
Partly down to his name, Bardghji has been compared to Wayne Rooney, so securing his services could be a real statement by Evangelos Marinakis, who looks to have an advantage over Tottenham due to his previous dealings with the 19-year-old’s agent.
According to Transfermarkt, Bardghji is represented by CAA Base, a London-based football agency with many high-profile names in the sport.
Among these names are Forest stars Chris Wood and Ryan Yates, meaning that Marinakis will be comfortable dealing with CAA Base.

MORE FOREST STORIES
Back in January, Wood signed a new deal at Forest to further show Marinakis’ strong working relationship with Bardghji’s representatives, which has also extended to dealings beyond signing players.
Steve Cooper also shares an agent with Roony Bardghji
They might not have always got on after Forest sacked Steve Cooper, but Marinakis will have dealt with CAA Base for a while as they also represent the former Forest boss.
However, the positivity drops off slightly as the agency also represents Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, creating a potential direct line between Bardghji and the interested club.
The agents will be busy as Cooper is being linked with Championship clubs ahead of next season, but hopefully, for Forest’s sake, Marinakis will be able to use his relationship with CAA Base to leverage an advantage in the Bardghji race.
It’s looking like the Swede will be available for a fee of around £10 million this summer, so if Marinakis can work his magic, it would certainly be a deal that Forest can afford and be excited about.
